Partners in Care values Host Home Providers as a vital part of the interdisciplinary team. Host Home Providers help determine if an individual is ready for the next step, what services and supports would help the individual reach a greater level of independence, and so much more.
As a Partners in Care Host Home Provider, WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT YOU!
Partners in Care offers competitive pay, training and support to Host Home Providers. The Agency pays for QMAP training, CPR and First Aid, as well as the background checks required for providers. The Agency offers ongoing support and team building events throughout the year.
Partners in Care strives to provide homes in which Providers receive the help they need to nurture and care for adults with disabilities to help them reach their highest level of independence.
If you are interested in becoming a Host Home Provider, these are the requirements:
- Application
- Background checks, including CBI/FBI and CAPS checks
- QMAP certification (training on medication administration)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Proof of Auto Insurance
- Maintain a clean driving record with active driver’s license
- Homeowner’s/Renter’s insurance
- …as well as other requirements
Trainings in:
- Person Centered Thinking
- Confidentiality
- OSHA requirements
- …and other required trainings
